Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Books And A Beat
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Choice This Week:
Ok so sadly this week i’ll bend the rules of Teaser Tuesday for myself a little , I have been busy with work and preparation for my Post Graduation degree and that has resulted in me getting less time to read and finish the book that I am presently reading , add to that the fact that what I am reading right now is a Malazan book of Fallen , which demands your complete and undivided attention and even that is sometimes not enough to prevent you from going back a few pages and re-read a few lines .
All this has culminated in me being very slow with my current reading progress , hence instead of re-teasing Memories of Ice like last week , I am going to turn to an older book that I had read and have enjoyed in the past – Storm Front , Book 1 of The Dresden Files , The review of the book can be found here
My Selected Teaser :
I don’t want to live in a world where the strong rule and the weak cower. I’d rather make a place where things are a little quieter. Where trolls stay the hell under their bridges and where elves don’t come swooping out to snatch children from their cradles. Where vampires respect the limits, and where the faeries mind their p’s and q’s. My name is Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Conjure by it at your own risk. When things get strange, when what goes bump in the night flicks on the lights, when no one else can help you, give me a call. I’m in the book.
– page progress : 99.5% , Kindle Edition
Book Detail:
as before mentioned and linked you can find my review on Storm Front and 2 other books of The Dresden Files Series on this blog , Dresden Files is a ongoing series of Book that belongs to the Modern Fantasy , Action and Mystery Genre where Author Jim Butcher has created a magnificent world of Magic which works on the basis of Physics , there are plenty of flaws and the starting few books can be hard to tolerate for some but it is a fun page turner series and one of my personal favourite .
