Teaser Tuesday – 20th September 2016

unnamed

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Books And A Beat

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers

My Choice :

This week I have chosen The Yorkshire Biryani . by Vikram Venkataragavan.

The Yorkshire Biryani is the Debut of author Vikram Venkataragavan , where he pictures a world where instead of the British Empire ruling over countries like India for a couple of centuries it’s the other way around with India ruling over much part of Asia and British empire.

I was grateful enough to be chosen by the author to review his book and have started reading it since the weekend , hopefully I’d have positive things to say about the book .

My Teaser:

32019188“Steve looked at the man again and recognized him as Uncle William. He was wearing casual western clothing and had a strong British accent. He covered his face with a cloth and threw a crude bomb to the other side . With that , the famous battle of Westminster had begun.”

-The Yorkshire Biryani , by Vikram Venkataragavan (page 39, Kindle edition)
